This evening offers a truly authentic Portuguese experience, combining traditional cuisine with the soulful sounds of Fado music. Set in a typical and intimate restaurant, guests will enjoy a dinner that showcases the richness of Portuguese gastronomy, with carefully prepared dishes inspired by traditional recipes and local ingredients.
As the evening unfolds, the atmosphere becomes even more special with live Fado performances. This unique
musical expression, recognized as Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO, is deeply rooted in
Portuguese culture and is known for its emotional and melancholic tones, often reflecting themes of longing, love, and the sea.Tonight, we will also get to meet a couple local college students studying in Lisbon. At least one will be studying tourism and be able to share her experiences and add a special touch to our trip. Date may vary as per their schedule closer to the trip.

FULL DAY LISBON
09:00 am – This full-day experience in Lisbon combines heritage, gastronomy, and hands-on cultural immersion, offering a complete introduction to Portuguese traditions. The day begins in the historic district of Belém, one of the most emblematic
areas of the city and closely linked to the Age of Discoveries. The first visit is to the Jerónimos Monastery, a masterpiece of Manueline architecture and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Here, guests will have the opportunity to explore its impressive
cloisters and discover the historical significance of this monument, deeply connected to Portugal’s maritime past. Following the visit, there is a stop at the famous Pastéis de Belém bakery, where guests can taste the iconic Portuguese custard tart, prepared according to the original and secret recipe that has been preserved for generations.In the late afternoon, the experience continues with a traditional Portuguese cooking workshop, where
participants will learn how to prepare typical local dishes under the guidance of experienced hosts. This
interactive activity offers a deeper understanding of Portuguese culinary culture, its ingredients, and its traditions. FULL DAY SINTRA
09:00 am – The day begins with a visit to the iconic Pena Palace, one of the most remarkable examples of Romantic architecture in Europe. Perched atop the Sintra mountains, the palace is surrounded by lush forest and offers breathtaking panoramic views over the surrounding landscape. Visitors will have time to explore its richly decorated interiors and admire the colorful façades and terraces that make this monument so unique. Following the visit, there is a stop to taste the traditional Travesseiros de Sintra, a beloved local pastry made of puff pastry filled with almond cream, offering a true flavor of the region’s pastry heritage.
In the afternoon, the experience continues with a guided walk through the Sintra Mountains, a protected natural area known for its dense vegetation, mystical atmosphere, and scenic trails. The route allows guests to enjoy the tranquility of the forest, discover hidden viewpoints, and appreciate the natural beauty that surrounds this UNESCO-listed cultural landscape. This circular hiking route, approximately 10 km long, starts and ends at Lousã Castle and offers an authentic

Along the trail, participants pass through some of the most emblematic villages in the region, including Talasnal, Chiqueiro, and Casal Novo, as well as the mountain village of Vaqueirinho, where time seems to stand still.The path unfolds through trails surrounded by lush nature, crossing traditional water channels, ancient chestnut groves, and areas of great natural and scenic value. Along the way, there are also cultural and historical points of interest, such as the chapels of Nossa Senhora da Piedade, as well as remnants of the region’s industrial heritage, including the former Ermida hydroelectric power station. Porto is a vibrant city full of history, located on the banks of the Douro River in northern Portugal. It is famous for its Port wines, its historic center classified as a World Heritage Site, and the iconic bridges that connect the two banks of the Douro, creating an unforgettable urban landscape. You will have the opportunity to explore Porto in a memorable and relaxed way, strolling through the historic center and enjoying the unique atmosphere of its streets and squares, traditional architecture, and landmarks that tell the story of the city.The experience includes a visit to one of the renowned Port wine cellars, where you can learn about the
production process of this unique wine and taste some of its most representative varieties. To complete the experience, you will sail on a traditional Rabelo boat along the Douro River, taking in the city’s riversides and the iconic bridges that link Porto to Vila Nova de Gaia, in an experience that combines history, culture, and authentic flavors, offering a complete and unforgettable view of the city. At the end of the walk, there will be a tasting of local products, including homemade Port wine, regional honey, and olive oil, offering a genuine introduction to the flavors and traditions of the Douro. Paiva River region. The journey begins at the Paiva Walkways, a spectacular wooden boardwalk built along the cliffs of the Paiva River valley. The trail stretches through dramatic landscapes, offering continuous views over the river, waterfalls,
and lush green slopes. The walk is designed to allow visitors to experience the area at a comfortable pace, while fully appreciating the raw beauty and geological richness of this protected natural environment.
Along the route, guests will cross the famous 516 Arouca Suspension Bridge, one of the longest pedestrian suspension bridges in the world.
