Dubrovnik's Ancient Walls & Korcula Island

This morning we explore one of Europe's most iconic and beautifully preserved medieval cities.
Our guided walk along Dubrovnik's famous city walls brings centuries of fascinating history to
life as we stroll above the terracotta rooftops of the Old Town, taking in sweeping views of the
sparkling Adriatic Sea, hidden coves, ancient fortresses, and nearby islands. Often called the
"Pearl of the Adriatic," Dubrovnik has captivated travelers for generations with its remarkable
    beauty and timeless charm.

We'll pause to enjoy a picnic lunch featuring local cheeses, fresh breads, olive oils, and regional
specialties before continuing north to the historic town of Ston, home to Europe's longest
medieval defensive walls and centuries-old salt pans. After exploring this remarkable village,
we'll board a scenic ferry bound for the enchanting island of Korcula, where we'll settle into our

Mljet National Park & Traditional Peka Lunch

Today we discover what many Croatians consider to be the country's most beautiful island. A short ferry ride brings us to Mljet National Park, an untouched paradise of fragrant pine forests, crystal-clear saltwater lakes, peaceful walking trails, and breathtaking Adriatic scenery. As we hike through this remarkable national park, we'll visit a picturesque 12th-century Benedictine monastery nestled on its own tiny island and enjoy plenty of opportunities to appreciate the incredible natural beauty surrounding us.

Lunch introduces us to one of Croatia's most beloved culinary traditions—Peka. Slowly cooked
beneath an iron bell with meats, seasonal vegetables, herbs, and local olive oil, this traditional
meal is rich in flavor and a true taste of Dalmatia. Following our hike and leisurely lunch, we'll
return to Korcula where you'll have time to swim, relax, or simply enjoy the beautiful waterfront
before joining the group again for dinner.

    Medieval Korcula & Adriatic Leisure

Today offers the perfect blend of cultural discovery, authentic local connections, and time to simply enjoy island life. We'll wander through the enchanting medieval streets of Korcula, often referred to as "Little Dubrovnik," where narrow stone alleyways, elegant Venetian architecture, charming squares, and the magnificent Cathedral of St. Mark tell stories of centuries past. Many believe this beautiful island town was the birthplace of the famous explorer Marco Polo.

One of the highlights of our journey will be the opportunity to visit a local dance school dedicated to preserving the centuries-old tradition of Moreška sword dancing, one of Croatia's most treasured cultural performances. We'll have the chance to meet students and instructors, learn about this unique tradition, and enjoy a meaningful cultural exchange that supports the local community while creating lasting memories for both our group and the young performers.

The afternoon is yours to enjoy at your own pace. Swim in the crystal-clear Adriatic, relax at a seaside café, browse artisan boutiques, savor fresh seafood overlooking the harbor, or simply find a quiet cove where you can soak in the beauty of this remarkable island before we gather for dinner in a traditional local konoba.
